
TryTone presents: Tone Series
TryTone returns to Zaal 100 with the Tone Series, featuring a diverse evening of experimental and improvised music. The program includes a solo performance by Turkish double bassist Esat Ekincioğlu, a first-time collaboration between improvisers Jaap Blonk and Oğuz Büyükberber exploring Dadaist influences, and a performance by the MMA Improv Ensemble directed by Marcos Baggiani. The ensemble, developed over months of collaboration at Muziekpakhuis, focuses on instant composition and on-the-spot creation, joined for this edition by guest musicians Marielle Groven and Paul Pallesen.
