Grammy Award-winning trumpeter Sir Frank London and his Loisaida Fife & Drum Corps celebrate the release of their recording Touzle Your Kurchy and America's 250th anniversary with a concert of re-imagined Revolutionary and Civil War music. The ensemble blends 18th- and 19th-century Fife & Drum styles with African polyphony, Irish and Scottish dance tunes, and Sun Ra-style group improvisation. The event starts early with outdoor arts, crafts, and music with Honk! NYC.
