La Tormenta II at Forge Bucharest

LA TORMENTA is a series of parties showcasing the Latin underground electronic music scene. Our goal is to bridge various worldwide scenes with our local one, and throw wild and drippy raves. This edition features Columbian artists Aleroj and Isablu, prominent acts in the South American club scene. Aleroj is a co-founder of the label and collective MUAKK and has become a leading figure in “uwuaracha” (aka latincore), which fuses guaracha, hardcore techno, reggaeton, and more. He has toured South America and Europe and has been played by the likes of Nina Kraviz and Horsegiirl. Isablu, also associated with MUAKK, juggles a similar array of styles with a deeper focus on ghettotech, juke and icier soundscapes. Currently on tour with Aleroj, they’re on a two-person mission to propel Latin rave music forward. Liar is a veteran of many scenes, both local and international. The Tessier-Ashpool Recordings founder has seen support for his productions and those of his signees from the likes of RA to Noisey, Jamie xx to Laurent Garnier, and Armin van Buuren to Teki Latex. He plays literally everything (except a couple of things).
