The show premieres on October 13th and will run for a limited engagement of just eight performances, every Sunday at 17.00 . Step into the world of Mozart, as tree talented opera singers and a pianist, take you on a journey through these two iconic works, each of which broke boundaries and challenged social norms when they first appeared. With wit, charm, and breathtaking voices, they will bring to life the sharp humour and cleverness of Lorenzo da Ponte's libretto. ABOUT THE OPERAS Le Nozze di Figaro, adapted from Beaumarchais' provocative play, was initially banned for its bold themes of "immorality" and its “revolutionary tone”. It humorously exposes the struggles between servants and masters, questioning the power structures of the time. Don Giovanni, often regarded as Mozart’s masterpiece, shocked audiences with its daring portrayal of a defiant man who refuses to repent, leading to his dramatic downfall.
