35Noord was born as a way of bringing the house party culture of Atlanta to the NL. I wanted to tackle the norm of conceited exclusivity that I noticed from house parties here. To open my doors to everyone so they can feel the sense of inclusion and have a great time. Also it was my way of giving my friends who are amazing DJs a platform to share their artistry with a crowd. 2 years of growth and I have finally found the purpose of me hosting this event. Its not just for friends but for any creative, rather your visual or performance, 35 is here to shine a light on you. 35&FRNDS is all about building those creative bridges between not only artists but the community as well. To show people who is in their ¨backyard¨ versus on Instagram or tiktok. I am here for the underdogs and the overlooked because I know what it feels like. Instead of trying to force open the gate I am building one to keep it open. For the order of the night 35Noord SoundSystem will be playing Balie Funk, Afro Tech/House, Hip Hop, and Edits. Akatsuki Collective has a sound of hip hop, edits, amapiano, and house. The performing artist still needs to be confirmed. Guest spot DJ is Ambo411. He is an emerging DJ that focuses on the raw sounds of afro tech, afro house, and house. Alkan Kartal is the owner of Studio Kartal and Candyland. His imagery is sexyland.
