Justin Adams & Mohamed Errebbaa
Between trance, desert blues and intense grooves, the music of this project elevates the spirit and invites dancing. Justin Adams, known for his work with Robert Plant, Tinariwen, and Souad Massi, has a deep connection with North African trance music. He collaborates here with Mohamed Errebbaa, a master of the Gnawa tradition. Born in Morocco, Errebbaa began his journey in traditional Sufi brotherhoods and eventually received the title of Mâalem (master) of the guembri. Their performance blends Arab Maghreb heritage, sub-Saharan influences, and Sufi mysticism, enriched by profound rhythmic knowledge and traditional percussion.
