A high-energy, danceable gqom night.
Rooted in a deep love for music that transcends borders, Omar ؏ believes in the power of music to bring people together, fostering unity and celebrating diversity wherever he plays. He draws from a vast, ever-evolving palette of global music, moving fluidly between continents: Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Europe, and the Americas, weaving together soulful rhythms and high-energy grooves with intention and care. After completing his 12-city world tour, Omar ؏ returns to SILO, for a headline show going deeper into his favorite dance music — tracks he hasn't played yet on tour, alongside his own unreleased blends, remixes, and originals. Expect a heavy dose of African dance music: francophone, congolese, batida, afrobeats and amapiano, along with more global sounds woven throughout. Come ready to dance and discover music you may not have heard before!

This event takes place at SILO in Brooklyn, located at 90 Scott Ave, on August 15 from 6 PM to 10 PM.
The set explores global dance sounds with a heavy emphasis on gqom, amapiano, batida, and African rhythms, including several unreleased blends and edits.
