Το Διεθνές φεστιβάλ Πάτρας μέσα από την ενότητα «Jazz + More» συνεχίζει και φέτος το ταξίδι στα αχαρτογράφητα μονοπάτια τη μουσικής των αυτοσχεδιασμών και της ελεύθερης έκφρασης. Η jazz ως μουσική της ελευθερίας και της αναζήτησης, θα κάνει στάση στην πρωτεύουσα της Αχαΐας μετατρέποντάς την σε πόλο έλξης για ένα ξεχωριστό διάλογο με το κοινό. Φέτος η πόλη θα λειτουργήσει ως η «σκηνή» για τους νέους καλλιτέχνες της ελληνικής jazz σκηνής. Ιδιαίτερη αναφορά στη συμβολή του Δημοτικού Ωδείου Πατρών «Μίκης Θεοδωράκης» στη διαμόρφωση του προγράμματος.
