Deathchant is the brainchild of TJ Lemieux, formed in 2018 in Los Angeles. The group's sound is a high-energy blend of psychedelic rock, proto-metal, doom, stoner metal, and noise-punk, which the band simply describes as rock and roll with psychedelic influences. Their music oscillates between meditative, Eastern-influenced messages of unity and aggressive war cries, all underpinned by a consistent message of love.
