Gitkin
Gitkin is het muzikale project van multi-instrumentalist Brian J, een artiest en producer met wortels in zowel New York als New Orleans. Zijn muziek is een zwoele, instrumentale mix van wereldse invloeden waarin vooral Noord- en West-Afrikaanse gitaarstijlen, Midden-Oosterse klanken en Latijns-Amerikaanse grooves samenkomen. Met een sterke focus op ritme en sfeer creëert Gitkin een hypnotiserend geluid dat zowel filmisch als dansbaar aanvoelt. Zijn gitaarspel staat centraal: rauw, repetitief en meeslepend, vaak gedragen door pulserende baslijnen en subtiele percussie.
