JAMzz no. 4 returns to Aethernativ, a venue known for its daytime community and nighttime energy. Palestinian/British DJ and record collector Kamar takes over the decks for the night. Kamar is a musical archivist who explores dance music from the diaspora, blending London’s cultural diversity with sounds from Latin America, the Middle East, and South Asia. As a resident at Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide FM and host of the show Tealeaves, Kamar crafts sets that move fluidly through jazz, dub, deep house, broken beat, and boogie.
