Composer Sarah Davachi returns to First Congregational Church of Los Angeles for a solo organ performance on The Great Organs, one of the world's largest church pipe organs. The concert features works from her triple album, The Will of Tongues, exploring minimalism, experimentation, and psychoacoustics. Utilizing multiple organ sections positioned throughout the sanctuary from a single console, Davachi creates unique spatialization effects. The evening also features the L.A.-based brass ensemble Diapason performing microtonal interludes from the new release.
