Kind of Blue: A Tribute to Miles Davis at B-flat Jazz Club Berlin

The four musicians – all regular guests at the B-Flat Jazz Club and active on the international jazz scene – are dedicated to the music of this exceptional trumpeter, who redefined and propelled jazz forward on several occasions during his lifetime. From bebop through cool jazz to hard bop, rock jazz and fusion: Miles Davis harnessed the energies of each era, brought together the right musicians and consistently paved the way for new sounds and styles of playing. Tonight’s music will focus on both the energetic and the lyrical sides of the great trumpeter, paying tribute with great energy and dedication to one of jazz’s most important, uncompromising and original innovators.
