Stray Lights Showcase: Rotko & Coridor, Apt. Live at Control Club Bucharest
An underground, homegrown art rock night.
Another month, another instalment of the Stray Lights series in Control, with emerging artists from the new wave taking over our stage on May 5. Launching their first album, Rotko is a brand-new art rock/alternative/electronic band from Cluj-Napoca. Their music is strongly defined by modular synths, drum machines, and distorted guitar, creating a unique style characterized by a melancholic, sci-fi vibe alongside retrospective lyrics. Coridor, Apt. [Coridor, Apartament] is a Romanian midwest emo band from Bucharest. Under all the screaming, harmonies, and fuzzy guitar riffs you will find emotional and personal songs with annoyingly catchy melodies. The band has released a 5-song EP, 'Interior', with a runtime of 20 minutes to be listened and relistened.
