Their second album, All Of This Life, showcases a maturation of their gritty slide guitar and fuzzed-out bass into deeper, more ambitious songwriting that remains rooted in American rock and roll. Donavon Frankenreiter, a former professional surfer and member of the band Sunchild, launched his solo career in 2004. Known for his collaborations with Jack Johnson and a relaxed, acoustic-leaning style, he has released several albums under labels like Brushfire, Lost Highway, and his own Liquid Tambourine Records.
