Stela Enache, Discotecă DJs COOP & Leo Live at Control Club Bucharest
A nostalgic, danceable funk night.
This May Day we open early and let the day unfold between memory and motion. From afternoon smoke and grill to late-night echoes of another era, we’re leaning into togetherness without forcing the moment. Stela Enache joins the Discotecă collective at Control for a session of 80s funk, italo and eurodisco. The legendary voice behind “Ani de liceu” returns to the stage to recontextualize Romanian pop music. Discotecă is a pop archaeology collective dedicated to resurfacing Romanian recordings from the 60s through the 90s, reconnecting today’s dancefloors with a layered musical past. In the Front Room, Leo builds a space where Britpop, indie, and new wave meet. Expect guitar hooks and collective memory throughout the night.
