Pavlo Cherniavskyi Trio
An underground jazz night.
Pavlo Cherniavskyi Trio is a project founded in 2021 by a Ukrainian pianist who transitioned from a classical background to self-taught jazz. After the disruption of the war in Ukraine, Pavlo connected with Yaroslav Tovaryanskyi, one of Ukraine's premier upright bassists, and Belgian jazz drummer Louis Kubben at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles. The trio blends original compositions with arrangements of both famous and rare jazz standards. This performance brings their fresh collaborative sound to the historic heart of the Brussels jazz scene.
