Το Composition Competition and Concert είναι μια συνεργασία του Μεγάρου Μουσικής Θεσσαλονίκης με το Καλοκαιρινό Μουσικό Πρόγραμμα του Αμερικανικού Κολλεγίου Ανατόλια. Το πρόγραμμα προσφέρει σε νέους συνθέτες από όλο τον κόσμο την ευκαιρία να δημιουργήσουν έργα για ορχήστρα ή σύνολα μουσικής δωματίου υπό την καθοδήγηση έμπειρων καθηγητών και του μαέστρο. Περιλαμβάνει ανάλυση δημιουργικής σκέψης, οργάνωση υλικού και διαχείριση ηχοχρώματος. Τα έργα θα παρουσιαστούν σε συναυλία από τη Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα Νέων του Μεγάρου Μουσικής Θεσσαλονίκης (MOYSA), ενώ θα ακολουθήσει η απονομή βραβείων σύνθεσης.
