Kruder & Dorfmeister’s journey began in the early 1990s in Vienna, emerging during the peak of the techno movement but forging a unique path inspired by hip hop, rare groove, dub, and new wave. Their groundbreaking debut, G-Stoned, showcased an organically flowing sound that defied the standard production techniques of the time. Following the massive success of their DJ-Kicks and Sessions releases, the duo maintained their independence by focusing on their G-Stone label and various side projects like Tosca and Peace Orchestra. Today, they continue to explore a visionary musical landscape, recently performing over 250 sold-out audio-visual shows worldwide and developing a new live band experience for their legendary sessions.
