Hiromi is not just a piano virtuoso; her astounding technical skills are the result of diligent study and a lifelong passion for an instrument she calls her best friend. With her unique personal style, she blends influences of swing, groove, and ragtime while moving between the lines of pop-jazz and blues. Her project Sonicwonder brings together world-renowned musicians from diverse backgrounds to perform tracks from their new album Out There. The ensemble features French fusion virtuoso Hadrien Feraud on bass, Chicago-raised groove master Gene Coye on drums, and progressive trumpeter Adam O’Farrill, who utilizes electronics to create bold new sound textures.
