A Berklee Global Jazz Institute graduate mentored by Danilo Pérez and Terri Lyne Carrington, Groover is known for his melodic and energetic style that bridges musical heritage with modern exploration. Beyond his work as a bandleader with albums like Negro Spiritual Songbook, he is a highly regarded collaborator and educator, serving as Vice Chair of the Ensemble Department at Berklee College of Music. This performance features his quartet exploring themes from his latest projects, characterized by a deep emotional connection and rhythmic drive.
