New Jersey-born, New Orleans-based artist Dayna Kurtz is a vocalist, writer, musician, and producer. Over the past decade, she has received numerous accolades, including being named Female Songwriter of the Year by the National Academy of Songwriters. Kurtz has toured as an opening act for prestigious artists such as Elvis Costello, Mavis Staples, and Richard Thompson. Her studio album "Rise and Fall" earned five Offbeat Magazine Award nominations.
