A stellar jazz supergroup of the 21st century featuring Grammy-winning pianist Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Grammy-winning saxophonist Chris Potter, double bassist Larry Grenadier, and drummer Eric Harland. This collaboration, titled "First Meeting," embodies the spirit of collective improvisation. Originally proposed by Jason Olaine for a special engagement at New York's Dizzy's in 2022, the group performs a repertoire that includes original compositions from each member alongside jazz classics like Chick Corea's "500 Miles High" and Dizzy Gillespie's "Con Alma."
