Legendary producer and turntablist Josh Davis, better known as DJ Shadow, returns with his latest project, Action Adventure. Over a career spanning more than 30 years, Shadow has redefined instrumental hip-hop, from his groundbreaking debut Endtroducing to his recent genre-defying work. Action Adventure is a solo, inward-looking project born during the COVID-19 lockdown, focusing on his personal relationship with music as a collector and curator. The almost entirely instrumental album captures a cinematic quality and reflects his restless search for forgotten gems and cutting-edge sounds.
