THE ARNTZEN FAMILY & FRIENDS
An underground, homegrown folk night.
The Arntzen family is tied together by music, and have been so for several generations. Traditional Jazz has been the first love for many in this clan, and it still runs strong. Think music inspired by Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, Baby Dodds, and Sydney Bechet. However, other genres may bubble up as well, from folk ballads to bebop to synth-pop. The ensemble features Evan Arntzen on clarinet, vocals, and saxophone; Leif Arntzen on trumpet, vocals, and guitar; and Miles Francis Arntzen on drums, guitar, and vocals. They are joined by frequent guest Arnt Arntzen on banjo and guitar, along with additional special guests.
