To mark Peaches’ concert on 7 August, Melkweg presents a screening of the documentary "Teaches of Peaches". Filmed during the 2022 anniversary tour, the film explores the career of Canadian artist Merrill Nisker and her transformation into the icon Peaches. Through archival footage and tour documentation, the film highlights her two-decade journey as a feminist musician and producer challenging gender stereotypes and advocating for LGBTQIA+ rights within popular culture.
