About

The art of the famous Dutch Renaissance artist Hieronymus Bosch continues to radiate to this day. In the highly allegorical and symbolic art of the time, what role did music and musical instruments play in his work? Why do they appear so frequently? Dimitris Kountouras will attempt to shed light on different aspects of Bosch's relationship with music, in a lecture interspersed with musical sounds of the era, featuring the recorder and Baroque flute traverso.
