Jazz de Barro performs live at Smalls Jazz Club. This Ecuadorian ensemble blends traditional rhythms like the pasillo, sanjuanito, and albazo with the improvisational spirit of jazz, creating a unique sonic landscape rooted in the clay (barro) and culture of the Andes. The group features Su Terry on alto saxophone, Lucas Bravo on piano, Christian Torres on bass, and Raúl Molina on drums.






The ensemble fuses traditional Ecuadorian rhythms such as the pasillo, sanjuanito, and albazo with modern jazz improvisation.
