Alaï y las Marionetas is a living performance world where music, puppet theater, and ceremony come together. Singer-songwriter Alaï leads the experience as her full string band, featuring harp, guitar, violin, and upright bass, creates a soundscape for her songs. Puppets and performance artists move through the space, interacting with the audience to break the barrier between performer and observer. Alaï’s voice and wooden flute blend with the ensemble to create an atmosphere of presence and remembrance.
