Legendary Cuban pianist, composer, and bandleader Chucho Valdés performs a residency at Blue Note LA. Recognized as a 2025 NEA Jazz Master, Valdés is a towering figure in modern Afro-Cuban jazz with a career spanning six decades, including seven Grammy and six Latin Grammy Awards. The performances follow his recent acclaimed work with the Royal Quartet and his Irakere 50 tribute project, which continues to explore the bold fusion of ritual music, jazz, and classical styles that defined his influential career.
