For years, Chef’Special has been setting venues and festivals ablaze with their infectious energy and hits like In Your Arms, Amigo, and Afraid of the Dark. Following their successful debut at The Concertgebouw last summer, the band is now returning for a special semi-acoustic show. Since starting in 2008, the Haarlem-based quintet has grown into one of the Netherlands' most successful bands with an energetic mix of rock, pop, reggae, funk, and rap. During this special show, the focus is on the joy of playing, intimacy, and improvisation, with special versions of their best songs. This performance marks a significant moment as the band prepares for a year-long break and guitarist Guido Joseph departs.
