A homegrown gnawa night.
The breath of the desert arrives at Cabaret Sauvage with Tissilawen and Omarhaba. Originating from Tassili N’Ajjer and formed in Djanet in 2008, Tissilawen returns to Paris with a unique performance that blends Touareg sounds with blues, rock, rap, and reggae influences. Their music reconciles tradition and modernity, identity and universality, offering a generous and trance-like experience from the heart of the Sahara. Opening the evening is Omarhaba, a Moroccan artist carrying the Gnaoua tradition. His project explores bridges between ancestral music and contemporary sounds, inviting the audience to gather and celebrate love and peace through desert music and Amazigh influences.
