Why the fuck have I never heard of Elsa Yeung (Yang Hui-shan) before? The cutest Ninja Girl I have ever seen on screen! She made a bunch of movies around the 80’s and I have never seen or even heard of any of them. Well, time to start hunting because if Challenge of the Lady Ninja aka. Never Kiss a Ninja is any indication, I seem to be missing out. Cause this movie is a blast! Total nonsense mix of Ninja action, Charlie’s Angels like revenge Thriller and a bit of “James Bond” spy adventure. The fight scenes are a bit goofy but exciting and well executed. There’s also a healthy dose of sleaze and nudity here. This one really puts the “sexy” in Sexy Ninja. At one point two chicks start fighting in puddle of oil for no apparent reason. But then again, no reason was needed. I cannot emphasize enough how wacky, deliciously off-beat and ludicrously entertaining this movie is. A perfect midnight movie full of sexy (ninja) girls, colorful villains, crazy fights and just all around unhinged lunacy. Jumps right into my Top 10 Ninja movie of all-time. What a find!

I first discovered this wacky, sexy Ninja gem around four years ago. Read my review here. I’m very happy that Error 4444 now put out a pretty nice looking Blu-ray of the film. Picture quality is okay, but won’t blow you away, and the extras are nice but could have been a bit more. Still, a very nice edition and the movie is as entertaining as ever. If you are a fan of (sexy) Ninja, this one should be in your collection. Glad it’s in mine.

After years of training, a Lady Ninja learns that her father was killed by the Evil Japanese, so she does the only thing a person can do: Form a team of badass lady ninjas to take revenge. From the team that brought us KUNG FU WONDER CHILD is a deliriously sleazy take on Taiwan Black Movies (Woman seek revenge) and the new Ninja fad. It's wild, folks!
