The fact that there's like some utopian ranch out in Reno populated entirely by rich divorced women and hot cowboys makes me nuts
A happily married woman lets her catty friends talk her into divorce when her husband strays.

There's a name for you ladies, but it isn't used in high society... outside of a kennel.Name a more iconic line, I'll wait.
Though not exactly feminist (in how it shows unsupportive female friendships) this film remains an anomaly in classic movies because of its all-female cast. And what performances! Norma Shearer as the sweet, jilted wife... Rosalind Russell as the gossipy friend... Joan Crawford as the conniving mistress... and I love Paulette Goddard! George Cukor was known as a “women’s director” because he often worked with powerhouse women, and this is a perfect example. Great dialogue and a wonderful (inexplicable) Technicolor fashion show scene.
