I wrote the screenplay for this film and was one of its producers, and thus have no ability to review it, nor should you listen if I did. Furthermore, unlike my other original screenplays directed by Adam Wingard, such as You’re Next, The Guest, and A Horrible Way to Die, this one was based on story ideas we came up with together, so I have even less intelligent introspection on the creative process than normal. However!! I do firmly believe that all citizens should feel compelled to see this motion picture at least twice in theaters.
