Creo que me reí por roja
Set in April 1939 just after the Spanish Civil War, the film depicts a darkly comic dinner where General Franco and his generals convene at the Palace Hotel, unaware of the internal dissent brewing among the staff.
The film is directed by Manuel Gómez Pereira, a Spanish filmmaker known for his work in comedy and satire, who helmed this 2025 adaptation based on the play La Cena de los Generales.
