I loved it. I am inspired
I’ve been listening to Jack Johnson sinceI was 6, when the Curious George movie came out. My mom took our family to go see it in theaters, and afterwards she kept saying how much she liked the music. So on the way home from the theater, we stopped at Target and picked up the soundtrack on CD. From then on, that was just what we would listen to in the car, no questions asked. Jack Johnson has been my favorite artist since.By this point I know most of Jack’s songs like the back of my hand, however after watching this film I realized I’ve never actually understood many of those songs I’ve always known. His music makes so much more sense now, after learning more about him and his life. There was so much in here that I related to - largely Jack’s experience getting into film, and his love and passion for it. Jack has been a huge creative inspiration to me over the years just through his music. Now learning about his filmmaking side, as someone whose career is in film, he’s even more so. With a nearly packed theater, this was a pleasure to watch. The world needs more JJ.
