With a naturally husky voice and unique expressive style, she officially launched her solo career in 2021 with the release of her first album “THE END,” for which she wrote and composed all songs. She gained attention by participating as A_o in the TV commercial song for Otsuka Pharmaceutical’s 2021 Pocari Sweat campaign, “But You Appeared.” This was followed by major tie-ins, including the inspired song for the film “The Blood of Wolves LEVEL 2,” and performing and appearing in the commercial for Piccoma’s digital manga and novel service, “Amehana Karasu.” In October 2021, she joined Elopers, a one-night-only all-female band curated by Ringo Sheena, as vocalist, drawing attention. In January 2022, she made her voice acting debut as Porsha in the Japanese dubbed version of “Sing 2.” In May, she starred as Janis Joplin in the Japanese premiere of the Broadway musical “Janis,” marking her first musical and first leading stage role. In October 2023, she made her film debut as a lead in Shunji Iwai’s “Kyrie no Uta.” She also wrote and performed songs for the film, releasing the album “DEBUT” under the name “Kyrie.” Starting in March 2024, she held her solo tour “Grow The Sunset,” culminating in a one-man concert at Nippon Budokan on September 11. On November 27, she released her third album, “RUBY POP.”
