Atomic Wardead

ATOMIC WARDEAD, a Tech-thrash band from Czechia was formed in 2022 by guitarist and vocalist Marian Fila and drummer Ondřej Somol. Shortly after, bassist Adam Metyš and guitarist Dan Špatz joined the lineup, completing the band’s formation. After a few months of rehearsing and songwriting, the band prepared their first setlist and hit the stage in 2023 under their “THRASHBACK TOUR,” performing across the Czech Republic and Germany. With live experience, the band moved towards recording their debut album. “Beware The Dead” was recorded in February 2024 at HELLSOUND studio and released in March 2024. In April 2024, shortly after their debut’s release, bassist Adam Metyš decided to leave the band. He was temporarily replaced by Ondřej Bakalář, who performed with the band until October 2024. Later that month, František Novotný joined as the new permanent bassist. In 2025, the band focused on live shows and writing new material, leading to the recording of their second release at HELLSOUND studio. Vocals and final mastering were completed at ELSEBA RECORDS. In April 2026, ATOMIC WARDEAD released their EP “Who's Through The Ages...”, marking a darker and more aggressive step in their technical sound. Over the years, the band has shared the stage with household names of the Czech metal scene, such as Debustrol and Exorcizphobia.
