Avishai Darash

“Darash’s standing as one of the most gifted composers and performers on the international jazz circuit today” (Uk Vibe). Welcome to my page where I share my vision of music and art with the world. My path started at the age of 11 when I produced and created psychedelic trance. After discovering the piano, I've shifted my focus and went all in to become a pianist at the age of 16. I see music as a daily practice that brings us closer to our community and to god. my notable projects : “The planned Child”, “Andalusian Love Song", "Between Hope and Despair", "Modes of MaQaMat", "Sahara KOYO" and "Samskara". I got the opportunity to produce, collaborated and tour with the Marmoucha Orchestra, Amsterdam Andalusian Orchestra, Mehdi Nassouli, Hatim Ammor, Montse Cortes and MusicalMakers. My work has been presented on international stages such as the Concertgebouw, The Bimhuis, International Ud Festival - Jerusalem, Soree international world Music Festival, Mohammed V Theater, Beyoğlu Cultural Route Festival in Istanbul and many more. Another passion of mine is to teach and coach musicians and aspiring artists in the industry.
