In 2026 Crash of Rhinos will release their first album in 13 years: Logbook. Self-produced and recorded in an empty library and a remote Cumbrian barn, the album has taken the band years to shape after they quietly reformed four years ago. Crash of Rhinos broke up in 2014, shortly after releasing their second album Knots. Their first album, Distal, turned 10 in 2021 and the band got together in Derbyshire to run through the tunes to see if the chemistry was there for some possible anniversary shows. They had a great time. So good that they scrapped the anniversary show idea and started writing new songs. Their lives are very different than before. Their perspectives have widened and matured. Their appreciation of each other has deepened. And they sound more mellow and yet more intense at the same time. They are five guys from Derby, UK. Two guitars, two basses, drums, five voices. They make a racket. See also: Holding Patterns, Richard J. Birkin, The Little Explorer , The Jesus Years , Emphemetry
