An underground, queer spoken word artist.
Tracks5
David Wojnarowicz was a multidisciplinary American artist, writer, and AIDS activist prominent in the 1980s East Village art scene. His raw, politically charged work spanned painting, photography, film, and performance, often exploring themes of alienation and social injustice. Musically, he combined spoken word with experimental soundscapes, musique concrète, and industrial elements to create confrontational and thought-provoking sonic experiences.
