Emerging in 2017 from the Los Angeles underground industrial and metal scene, singer-guitarist-producer Ian Flux, bassist-vocalist Jack Lowd, and drummer Corey Hirsch have remained consistent in their mission to breathe fresh life into the influences from which they draw inspiration. Since their inception, the band has evolved their sound to become heavier, noisier, and more melodic with each release. Now, after a busy performance schedule in 2022 and 2023, Fact Pattern have returned with their first new single since 2021 with the song “NEVER BLEED”. Accompanied by a video directed by the band’s own Ian Flux, “NEVER BLEED” is a mid-apocalypse love song with some of the most dynamic and melancholic sounds the band has conjured to date. Featuring a driving rhythm of pounding drums and a steady bass-line fit for a dance floor, the sonic ensemble is completed with guitars that glide over atmospheric and textured synths in support of an urgent vocal melody. This song is merely the first of several new singles and videos from their forthcoming full-length, to be announced in summer 2024.
