Get Down Edits

Get Down Edits have been on the scene for just shy of two decades – and they just keep on getting better. Darren ‘Daz’ Dalton and Martin Roche are two Waterford locals who are so talented, in fact, that house legend Kerri Chandler himself is a fan of their work. GDE have a mammoth vinyl collection between them, meaning that no two sets of theirs are ever the same – and they have played alongside acts legendary such as Greg Wilson, The Revenge, The Disconauts, Mark E, Craig Smith, 78 Edits, Chez Damier, Kenny Dope (M.A.W), DJ Deep (Paris) and DJ Harri (Sub Club Glasgow) to name but a few. As an added string to their bow, ‘Get Down Edits: Vol 1-4’ were all a sell-out success (with re-presses) on Juno, and the releases included tracks from the likes of Late Nite Tuff Guy and Rayko, alongside their very own bangin’ tracks, edits and remixes. Summer 2017 saw GDE being invited to play as part of the Glitterbox Ibiza family alongside huge names like Dimitri From Paris and Aeroplane at the incredible Hi Ibiza and Defected Croatia.
