Joseph Keckler

Joseph Keckler is a musician and writer whose work moves between the sly, the sensual, and the surreal. His performances have appeared everywhere from punk bars to NPR Tiny Desk and The Metropolitan Museum of Art, which commissioned his piece A Good Night in the Trauma Garden in 2025. He has headlined internationally, including a national tour of Australia, and toured across the U.S. both solo and in collaboration with Lydia Lunch. He was the national support for Sleater-Kinney in 2019. He is the author of several performance works and the collection Dragon at the Edge of a Flat World (Turtle Point Press). A debut album is forthcoming soon.
