An underground new age artist.
Born and raised in Texas and long settled in Mesquite, Keith Richie splits his time between writing software and composing cinematic, otherworldly music. Under his “Maestoso” persona, he creates pieces that feel like they belong between film score and ambient electronica—bold in emotion, but intimate in tone. “If you were to take John Williams, John Carpenter, and Vangelis and put them all in the same room… what would the outcome be like?” That question sits at the core of his sound: melodic, atmospheric, and threaded with a quiet sense of drama. Keith’s current focus is The Infinite Weave: Epica, a long-form musical saga where songs and releases act as chapters in a larger story. Its First Act, The Awakening – EP, gathers six interconnected tracks into a passage from isolation to first light, tying together “Prologue (The Vision),” “Remote Isolation (The Silence),” and “Whispers of the Witch (The Haunting)” as the point where his hidden world finally steps into view.
Keith Richie creates cinematic and otherworldly electronic music, blending elements of new age, space music, and film scores, often drawing inspiration from artists like Vangelis and John Carpenter.
Keith Richie was born and raised in Texas and is currently based in Mesquite, Texas.
