Lakótelep is a post-punk duo from Hungary, formed in 2023, featuring a drum machine, chorus pedals, and lyrics about personal and public life. Last year, they made it to the finals of Kikeltető, the country's most prestigious alternative talent show, and than played at hungary's best underground festivals, Kolorádó and Bánkitó. Their second EP, a four-track record titled "BALHÉ A LAKÓTELEPEN" released on 2024. august 2. LAKÓTELEP writes about domestic public affairs, personal challenges and unique housing estate stories.
