An underground pop artist.
Hailing from south-west London, singer-songwriter Louis Oliver has been holed up for the last two years in London W10’s storied Eastcote Studios, writing and recording his own brand of progressive pop songs. His debut EP, ‘Live at Eastcote’, dropped in May 2025 and featured 4 live cuts of the songs he had been playing out over the last 2 years. Each of the tracks, recorded in just one take, are the perfect introduction to this singular talent and show Louis at his most pure. Music wasn’t Louis’s first artistic calling. As a teen he landed the role of the young Sherlock Holmes alongside Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman in the BBC’s acclaimed series Sherlock before landing further roles in Midnight Mass (Netflix), & Inside Man (ITV). A storyteller at heart, Louis’s songs, underscored by captivating melodies and intriguing lyrics, have a way of drawing you in and are every bit as engaging on record as they are in a live setting. He has spent the last year on the road, playing the likes of Ones To Watch, The Social, AEG Rising, Soho Calling, Sound City and Live At Leeds. Louis’s debut single, ‘Time Can Really Run Away’, the first of a run of singles dropping over the coming months, will be released in November and will be supported by more live dates through to the end of the year including AEG’s Lock in, Live at Leeds and his 2nd headline show at London’s Green Room.
Louis Oliver plays progressive pop and indie singer-songwriter music featuring intimate storytelling and organic instrumentation, recorded at London's Eastcote Studios.
