Mi Cosa de Resistance

Fernando Perales was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1971. From the mid to late nineties, he was part of the iconic Argentinian band Reynols. After a number of years away from music, around 2007 formed UL, a noise guitar trio with Anla Courtis and Charly Zaragoza. In 2009, he began his solo career under the moniker of Viva La Muerte, a prepared guitar based post-industrial project, beside some other projects and collaborations alongside Argentinian, Brazilian and European musicians. Since 2016, he has been working as Mi Cosa de Resistance (My piece “De Resistance”), a lofi post-ambient project based on sampling, releasing 30 album via Bandcamp since 2017, on labels like Whitelabrecs (UK), Minimal Resource Manipulation (UK), Audiobulb (UK), Elm Records (UK), Spirit of Gravity (UK), Giraffe Tapes (Georgia) and his imprint, Hissful Tapes (Argentina) During the last 15 years he has toured around Latin America & Europe 5 times, playing more than 100 concerts (something unusual for a Latin American musician).
