Founded in 1960, the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège is the sole professional symphony orchestra in French-speaking Belgium. Performing primarily from the historic Salle Philharmonique in Liège, the ensemble champions a diverse classical repertoire ranging from Romantic masterpieces to contemporary orchestral commissions. Under the direction of music director Lionel Bringuier, the orchestra maintains a vibrant international presence through acclaimed recordings and global touring.
